Susan Lee is daughter of the community and life-long New Yorker. She is a community advocate/activist where she spent most of her childhood in the Lower East Side. Susan is the Vice-President and Co-Founder of SDR Park Alliance. As an avid runner, she sees the disparities between the green spaces in her neighborhood versus those in communities of color. She understands the need to continually invest in our green spaces and our community spaces which play an integral part in the social fabric of our lives. Parks are especially essential in densely populated urban areas where they are extensions of our homes. She has completed 14 marathons and is currently training for the Tokyo Marathon.
